0.15mm Rogers PORON ShockPad Foam is a reliable impact cushioning material that can be used on the back of gasketless displays and alongside other internal components of mobile devices. ShockPad foam material not only absorbs huge impact force, but also has excellent resistance to compression set. In addition, they are easy to process and perform reliably throughout the entire life cycle of the end product. It can withstand high temperatures of 150°C and low temperatures of minus 40°C.

PORON ShockPad foam materials provide protection and design flexibility for slim handheld devices and back padded displays including smartphones, tablets and more. Rogers foam materials maintain their integrity and effectiveness in gap filling, gasketing and vibration isolation applications. It can meet the requirements of fixing and sealing of smooth parts of various parts, and is suitable for non-structural fixing and sealing of light and small materials, and has good waterproof performance.

 

As shown in the figure below, PORON ShockPad foam can absorb twice as much force as its competing counterparts under practical drop conditions. This distinction could mean whether a device survived a drop or suffered impact damage to the LCD display and internal components.
