PORON 4790-79 ShockSeal™ Series Foam: Shock Protection for Handheld Devices
PORON®
ShockSeal™ 4790-79 Series foam materials are a specialty material from Rogers Foam. Rogers PORON® ShockSeal™ 4790-79 foam materials are trusted cushioning and sealing solutions for handheld devices and general industrial applications.
PORON ShockSeal polyurethane foam is a thick material that can be used for gasket designs, cushioning pads, insulating rings or spring applications. PORON ShockSeal materials can absorb the same or more energy than higher density materials. Handheld grade PORON ShockSeal materials offer several times the impact resistance of other competitive materials while providing excellent conformability and ease of use for some of the most intricate designs found in handheld devices. Industrial-grade PORON ShockSeal materials are certified to the UL Standard for Caulking and Sealing (UL50E/UL508) and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302 (FMVSS 302) specifications.
